Shelby County Fair Food Booth

The Houston Community Association bought the food booth at the fairgrounds from the Hardin Grange during the 1970s. Next year, the fair is from Sunday, July 26, 2026 through Saturday, August 1, 2026. Volunteers are needed each day, as we open around 6:30AM (we have breakfast!) and close around 9PM. Houston High School students who volunteer can become eligible for our scholarship! Sign up here.

Thank you also to Shafer Oil Company for providing the propane for us to heat our grill, stove, and hot water heater, and to Fullenkamp’s Frenchtown Trailer Sales & Supply Company for providing a trailer for us to use during fair week to transport and store our supplies! And thank you so much to our volunteers who help make this event possible. We would not be able to continue to do this without all of you!!
