Projects

In November of 2025, the Houston Wildcat’s Softball Team worked hard to pull out all the weeds and bring in stone on the north and west sides of our building to finish the first phase of landscaping at our community center. They did a great job!

In April 2026, the Houston Volleyball Team finished the second phase of the landscaping project at our community center. They planted a Ruby Falls weeping redbud tree, a Diervilla shrub, six Caesar’s Brother Siberian irises, six Liriope flowering plants, two Francee hostas, two Conica Alberta dwarf spruces, six Pardon Me day lilies, six Happy Returns day lilies, two Ruby Slippers oakleaf hydrangeas, four Ron Williams Fine Line buckthorn bushes, three Firewitch dianthus flowering plants, eight Tater Tot arborvitae dwarf shrubs, six Novanepjun Junior Walker catmint flowering plants, and three Autumn Joy stonecrop flowering plants. They brought in two boulders and completed it with a layer of mulch. It looks fabulous!

We’re very grateful to both teams, along with Ryan Maier for coordinating the project!
